Dalila Hernández-Ramírez was born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico. At the age of 15 she moved to Napa to attend Vintage High School. She then graduated from Napa Valley College and transferred to Sonoma State University where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and then her Master of Arts in Spanish.
Since her graduation from high school, she has been involved in the education field in multiple positions. She started as a high school tutor and mentor. After her graduation from Sonoma State, she worked at Napa Valley College. She then became employed as a perinatal educator and translator at the local Community Health Clinic Ole. Utilizing her scope of talents, she teaches GED, ESL and Private Spanish lessons. One of her passions is curriculum development, a component of her current jobs.
She decided to found Español in the Valley after completing her Masters when she realized how rapidly her private practice was growing.
As the founder of Español in the Valley she supervises and oversees the classes and services offered. She personally will provide orientation, develop an individualized plan and supervise the progress of each student.
