Meet Katy
About Katy
I’m native French, currently living in Brittany, France, but I spent 13 years in Spain. I'm a language lover, bilingual in Spanish. I also speak English, Portuguese, Italian and I always keep on learning languages. I think anyone can learn a new language at any age and I try to share my experience with others.
I'm also a language instructor. I started teaching French and Spanish and helping people from very different nationalities practice and improve their skills for more than 10 years. Although I work on-line now, I’ve also worked for private companies and Institutions. I have a Master's degree in French and languages teaching and another one in Spanish, but I'm not a conventional teacher at all! I know learning is a personal process that can't be forced. For me enthusiasm, pleasure and independence are the most important things you need to succeed in language learning.
There are many other things I love in life. I’m the mother of two bilingual kids and I love spending time with them. I also love nature, art, dancing, music, enjoying everyday life.
