How to Learn a Language: A Guide for Language Learners

About This Guide

For the last three years, many of you have emailed me and asked me the questions, “What’s the best way to learn Spanish? What’s the best method to learn Spanish? What advice could you give to learn Spanish faster? What can I do to learn Spanish faster?"

These are just some of the questions that I have received from you since I launched my podcast, “Conversations in Spanish & Other Languages.” For this reason, I have decided to write this guide to help you understand what we know about the process of learning a language from the research, the studies, and the literature from the field of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) so that you can be aware of how language develops in your mind and you can be more effective and efficient at learning Spanish or any other language.

In this guide, I will also give you suggestions, recommendations and ideas to make your journey to learn Spanish easier, fun and more enjoyable.

I intend to work on this guide little by little, so come back at least once a month to see what is new.
